Cyprus and Malta - two direct ways to EU citizenship by investment

Malta used to offer easy EU citizenship route for wealthy foreingers ready to donate EUR 600,000 without mandatory real estate or other investments.

Cyprus had a fantastic citizenship by investment programme granting foreign individuals with EU citizenship for the whole family upon acquisition of real estate worth EUR 2,500,000 and adove.

Those programmes used to be the only direct and legal pathways to European citizenship.
